(Stockholm, 6 September 2006) EasyChange today announced the launch of the world’s most sophisticated telecommunications price comparison service.
The Interactive Tariff Guide (ITG) was launched together with ComReg, the Irish Commission for Communications Regulation, who is a recent customer of EasyChange. The ITG makes possible the transparent comparison of telecommunication services such as mobile telephony, fixed telephony, broadband internet and bundled services.
– We are delighted that we were awarded the public tender by ComReg to build and deliver this solution. What set this service apart from others are its accuracy and comprehensive support for different tariff structures. A truly transparent price comparison service needs to be highly accurate, otherwise it completely loses its value, says Martin Swahn, Managing Director of EasyChange Group SA. A testament to the quality of the solution is the Public Service Excellence Award that was awarded to Callcosts.ie by the office of the Irish Prime Minister, Bertie Ahern.
The ITG is an invaluable solution for telecommunication regulatory bodies, consumer organizations, mobile/fixed/broadband/VOIP operators, resellers of such services as it allows highly accurate comparisons.
The ITG supports the widest set of tariff features of any solution including add-ons, promotions, discounts, equipment rentals, time based or flat fees, international tariffs, preferred calls, SMS, MMS, GPRS/3G, location based support for broadband, 24×7 mapping of calls to call rates, assumptions, user profiles, statistics, historical tariff information, security, advanced administration, etc.
The ITG supports tariff structures for most countries and can easily be adapted for each market, language and currency.
ComReg’s website www.callcosts.ie runs the Interactive Tariff Guide solution.
